Airships Over Singapore Skies
By 2010, we may have a very different skyline. Not only will there by a revamped Marina Bay, and Integrated Resorts, but we may well even have blimps hovering around the Marina Bay skies!
According ST Online, Zeppelin Airship World (ZAW), started by German permanent resident Armin Spenninger, has clinched a deal to ‘assemble, operate, market and distribute’ the new Zeppelin NT airships in Singapore and Malaysia. Here’s an artist’s impression on how it would look like

Don’t be too happy yet though, as there are many conditions yet to be ironed out. One of which is that the huge blimp would need a large plot of area to land and take off. STB is still trying to resolve the issues.
