HTC Dream On Sale In Singtel Shops

After the launch of Apple’s iPhone in Singapore, many have been speculating about HTC Dream being the next “big thing” in town. From our earlier post, Singtel has already announced that it will be the sole distributor for the HTC Dream in Singapore.

Good news though is that Singtel has already launched the HTC Dream as at 21st February, and it can be purchased from any Singtel store islandwide. HTC Dream, also known as Google Phone, is an Internet-enabled smartphone with an operating system designed by Google and hardware designed by HTC. It is also the first phone to the market that uses the Android mobile device platform.

The HTC Dream also includes features with quick one-touch access to Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk, Google Calendar, Google Maps and much more. In addtion, the HTC Dream also comes with a large 3.2” display with a touch-sensitive navigation that is finger friendly and super intuitive. Alternatively you can swing it out of the way to use the full five-row QWERTY keyboard. This gives plenty of room to respond to emails, messages and even chat.

The HTC Dream also delivers an whole new innovative browsing experience. The phone’s browser comes with a clever multi-page window pane that lets you surf multiple websites at the same time. The touchscreen allow users to drag the page around with your finger to pan, or move from one link or textbox to another with the handy trackball positioned perfectly for your thumb. Moreover, the HTC Dream is equipped with both 3.5G and Wi-Fi technology.

In the meantime, we’ve yet to see if its comparable to Apple’s iPhone. I guess we’ll have to wait and see, unless some kind sole wants to donate a HTC Dream to me. =)
