I Love You, Man Review
The one and only Paul Rudd is the best person for this movie feature. Watch it and you will understand what I’m saying. At first sight, I would have thought “I Love You, Man” was a typical chick flick, but I was horribly wrong.
Peter Klaven (Paul Rudd) is the main character of this film, who is a moderately successful real estate agent and had won his gorgeous girlfriend, Zooey’s (Rashida Jones) hand in marriage. They had been together for eight months and Zooey had a whole bunch of bosom friends who later would be her bride’s maids.
This relationship would have been flawless if not for the obvious fact that Peter does not have a close friend who would play his best man. The mundane routine of staying at home one night every week to watch HBO, Chocolat or just hanging out with Zooey would have proved perfect – if Peter was a female. He was sensitive, caring and everything else but in the real world, most guys do not like to have friends like that.
Interwoven with the plot are some gay scenes and they are hilarious. Words like “whore” or “bitch” would come up straight at you so you might want to consider telling your kids? All these were results of Peter going on man dates and suddenly, Sidney (Jason Segel) pops out above the rest.
They met at Peter’s open house and Sidney was just there to grab some free food! However, after some display of testosterone at subsequent meetings and heavy Rock n Roll, Peter had begun neglecting Zooey. So best man, worst man, take your pick!

You might also like the Hulk because of his multi-million dollar house or just laughing out loud at the “leprecon”. With a whole powerful and literally, colourful ensemble of on-screen characters, with Andy Samberg and JK Simmons, this movie is a must watch. It brings out the warmth of a blissful wedding and also the special bond between two guys. Ultimately, allowing you to understand why guys are just a different kind of species from girls.
I Love You, Man is great and hilarious and you probably would not find any other movies out there with just as much honesty and endearment, YET!
