iPhone 3G S Coming Soon To Singapore

If you’ve read my earlier post, I’m sure you’ll be interested to find out when is the iPhone 3G S exactly available in Singapore. Well there isn’t much news as yet but here are some info that may be helpful.

According to reports,the iPhone 3G S downloads data much quicker at 7.2 Mbps using SingTel’s unrivalled 3G network. Something that its predecessor the iPhone 3G can’t do.

Singtel has a page specifically created to allow users to register and obtain up-to-date information on when iPhone 3G S will be made available. I’ve registered myself, and have been getting emails once in awhile with updates. The link can be found here

So to guys and girls who are big Apple / iPhone fans, prepare yourselves, and probably also your wallet. For bargain hunters, here’s a thought. If you’re not particular about the new camera and features, you may want to wait to see if the iPhone 3G pricing drops after the launch. Afterall, even if its an older model, you still get free upgrade to the new iPhone OS which includes all the bug fixes.
